Issue 003: On Intimacy

Issue 003 expands the definition of intimacy, and explores how intersecting identities shape the way we experience intimacy in our lives.

We’re interested in exploring:

  • How you define and express intimacy

  • How you experience intimacy across various relationships -- romantic, platonic, familial and self

  • The relationship between intimacy and sexual expression

  • The ways in which intimacy brings you joy and fulfillment

  • What it means for you to feel safe to share intimacy with another person

  • How intimacy has been a site of trauma in your life

  • The commodification of intimacy

  • The role culture, faith, sexuality, gender expression, ethnicity, ability, physicality, etc. play in your experience with and expression of intimacy
